This site is published by J.L. Sutherland & Associates, Inc., a Georgia corporation (“the Company”). The short version: this site is built to collect nothing about you.

What this site collects

Nothing, directly. There are no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics, and no advertising or tracking technologies of any kind. All resources, including fonts, are served from this site itself, so viewing it sends no request to any third party.

Server logs

Like nearly every website, the servers that host this site keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) for security and operational purposes. The Company reviews these logs only in aggregate, to understand overall traffic, and does not use them to identify visitors.

Correspondence and messaging

The Company corresponds with people who have given it their contact details directly. That correspondence may travel by email, text message (SMS or MMS), a messaging application such as WhatsApp, or any similar channel. Messages are infrequent and relate only to the matter at hand, such as confirming current contact details. Message and data rates may apply to text messages. You may reply STOP at any time to stop text messages, or HELP for information, and you may ask to be removed from any other channel the same way.

What you provide through any of these channels, such as a name, mailing address, email address, or telephone number, is retained as ordinary business correspondence and used only for the purpose for which you provided it. It is never sold, and never shared for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Third-party sites

Links on this site lead to websites operated by others, which follow their own privacy practices. This policy applies only to this site.

Children

This site is not directed at children and, consistent with the above, collects no personal information from anyone.

Your rights

If you have corresponded with the Company and would like that correspondence corrected or deleted, ask and it will be done, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Changes

Any revision to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
